"Awareness 1000"

Awareness 1,000 Campaign

Would you like to REALLY make a difference - in a quick and easy way?  You can, by participating in our AWARENESS 1000 CAMPAIGN starting now through July 1, 2008.

HERE'S HOW

We want to spread the word about our compassionate services at Mountain Hospice to 1,000 new people, and we need your help to do it.  Between now and July 1, 2008, we're asking every volunteer to help spread the name and mission of Mountain Hospice through one-on-one discussions with family, friends, co-workers, church members, and anyone willing to listen.

IT'S AS EASY AS ONE, TWO, THREE:

ORGANIZE: Your thoughts around a little “story” that will help you describe some of the services and benefits of Mountain Hospice.  A suggested story outline and a “my story” sheet are attached to help focus your thoughts on some of the important things others might like to know about Mountain Hospice.

IDENTIFY: 12 adults, outside of our own household, to tell your “story” to by July 1, 2008.  A worksheet is attached to jog your memory as you make a list of possible listeners.  You may also wear your campaign badge as a way to start conversations.

BEGIN:  Telling your story to those on your list and to other people where the opportunity presents itself, keep track of your numbers, and call them in as you go so we'll know when we reach our goal of contacting 1,000 new people in the community about Mountain Hospice.

We'll ask you to report your progress as contacts are made.  The total will be displayed on our campaign thermometers at our Belington, Marlinton, Franklin, and Davis locations.
